Often called the cultural heart of New York, Greenwich Village is an area in the south of Manhattan. The "village", as the New Yorkers nickname it, was originally a small rural village independent from New York City, which explains the absence of a grid-plan, and the fact that the streets have names and not numbers. This bohemian district is known for its alternative culture. It is the birthplace of political, artistic or cultural movements. Poetry cafes, bookstores and jazz clubs were developed in the area, as well as Off Broadway theaters to give another image of the theater that are presented on Broadway. Today it is more residential, the architecture and the spirit of the Village have attracted many bourgeois people, and the area has gradually emptied from its artists. However, the nightlife of Greenwich Village is still very exciting and it is undoubtedly the city's most interesting district to listen to good jazz bands, folk or rock. At the center of the area there is Washington Square Park, a cosmopolitan place where you can meet chess players, musicians, athletes and tourists.

This 500 sq.ft. apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a building without lift. For your comfort it is equipped with air conditioning and a wireless internet connection. The apartment is bright and the whole floor is wooden floor. Enter the living room which has a comfortable sofa bed for 2 people. It is equipped with a 42 inch plasma HD television. The apartment has 2 bedrooms. They both have a queen size bed, and one of them has a shelf.

We provide blankets and pillows for the maximum capacity of the apartment, free of charge (i.e.: a 2 bedroom apartment is allotted 3 sets of blankets/sheets/pillows - 1 for each bed, and 1 for the sofa bed). The customer can order additional sheets, blankets, and pillows for a onetime fee of $25/set.

The kitchen, independent, is fully equipped and it has a large fridge with a freezer compartment, an oven with gas hotplates and everything necessary for you to cook.
Finally the bathroom has a shower and a basin with a large mirror. The toilet is independent.

The owner shall provide each tenant with a towel. If you would like more, there is a $ 5 charge for each additional fresh towel.

Internet and WIFI are provided in all apartments; however, the owner cannot guarantee they will be working all the time.
