I had asked for a quiet room and it was (401). Our 2 bedroom apartment had everything we needed. 3 TVs, full kitchen, coffee maker, washers and dryer. I would stay here again but there were a couple of things to point out - bathroom is tiny and no where to put toiletries and it was a little dark which was no big deal because we just kept the lights on. On the plus side, it was very comfortable, close to Times Square and 5 min walk to Macy's on 34th street. And around the corner from Grand Central station and Bryant Park. We walked to Central Park which took about 20 min. The staff were great and very efficient. One time the wifi stopped working and they were at our door rebooting the modem within 30 seconds - so fast. Based on our experience I will definitely be staying at an AKA property again.

This hotel is modern, clean, spacious, and private. It is truly your own apartment in the middle of all the excitement of manhattan. It was nice to have our own space to come home to after lunch and shopping. Watch TV and relax in the bedroom or living room before going out for the evening. It is within walking distance to grand central, time square, rockefellar center, and 5th avenue shopping. It has a beautiful kitchen and I suggest bringing a bottle of wine. 5 star quality for a great price. The front desk staff is friendly and the environment is very safe. I recommend AKA whether your are going for one night or one year!

Just returned and had a great time, the hotel was clean, staff were very helpful. The location was excellent for walking or taking subway to all the attractions. No problems walking the streets at all. It was wonderful to have the kitchen availability and there were lots of markets around to buy food. It was an easy walk from Grand Central Station. Would stay there again.
